Queenslanders selected for Beach Handball World ChampionshipsFour Queenslanders have been selected to represent Australia in the IV Beach Handball World Championships. Ben Dawson, Josh Guest, Nathaniel Smith and Jason Smith have been selected to go to Lara Beach Park in Antalya, Turkey. All players play locally for the Western Saints Handball Association. Youth CompetitionThe Youth development competition is running strongly. Interested youth need to be at QUT 44 Musk Ave between 6.00pm and 6.30pm each Friday. After an initial training and drills games are played until 8.00 pm. This competition in conjunction with the All Schools tournament is the main selection area for the Under 14 and Under 16 state teams. All interested and new players welcome. Cost $10 per night.
Selection has occurred for the Under 16 boys and girls teams and will commence in July for the under 14 teams.
